Selwyn College Te Maru Pūmanawa in association with the Otago University Theology Programme and the Dunedin North Parish present the second annual Hoani Parata Lecture to honour Reverend Canon Hoani Parata (1881–1928), the first Māori resident at Te Maru Pūmanawa. This years speaker will be the Ven Dr. Hirini Kaa (Ngāti Porou, Ngāti Kahungunu, Rongowhakaata)
